Timberwolf of Andale 22/5/1988 - 15/9/1996 Somewhere, in a different world, my friend walks steady on velvet paws A tender-hearted gentleman Whose warm and honest eyes would hold my gaze Never with threat Never with defiance But with wisdom, and serenity, and implicit trust Somewhere, he dances with grace With effortless ease and untamed power And I am lost to think that he, alone, loved MY every move Or perhaps he's somewhere close by? But I'm deprived to touch his noble head Or to see his smiling, gentle face as he bounds to greet me Walk by my side, dearest Timber Stay close while I walk this earth without you And be there to greet me, when my time here is done.....
